New website for Netherlands based RDG-engineering. The initial website had been developed in 2006 when RDG Engineering just started out. As they were nearing their 10-year anniversary, and celebrated their successful growth, they approached us for a website to reflect this.
To create a familiarity for the website’s main target audience the main design elements are taken from the visual language of technical drawings & 3d drawing software. Combined with a Dutch design aesthetic, the design has become a grown-up version of its predecessor, .
In addition to design & development we have been tasked with monitoring & improving SEO & running Google AdWords campaigns to assist with personnel recruitment.
Design & development of this new venture by Genius Concepts. Entering a contested local market, speed and SEO are key, and our design approach is aimed at making the GC fires site, and their unique business model stand out from the rest. With a lean & iterative approach, this is a great project to work on, to be able to improve as the business grows, with a close eye on metrics & performance.
The Black Sheep Restaurant opened its doors in November 2013. This unique, hugely popular, blackboard eatery brings locally sourced, fresh, honest fare. The menu changes daily (but for a few favourites).
Caro designed the logo, corporate ID and signage, while Niek designed and developed the website, which sports the changing daily menu. The website is fully responsive, and has a strong focus on ‘getting to the point quickly’, after all, a restaurant is about food!

EarthStock is a collection born from Pippa Hetherington’s archive of over 50,000 pictures. Her travels through Africa and in particular the heart of her homeland South Africa have led to the theme of sustainable development becoming central to her work.

The Cape Cystic Fibrosis Association (CCFA) supports the Red Cross Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, by supplying various breathing equipment such nebulisers, Flutter devices and portable oxygen cylinders, as well as providing food parcels to Cystic Fibrosis families in need. They also allow for certain support staff to be employed at the Clinic. The Red Cross CF Clinic looks after around 250 children with Cystic Fibrosis.
Genius Concepts is the exclusive distributor of Systexx wall coverings in Southern Africa. Starting in 2012, Genius Concepts needed a strong identity to effectively launch their new product. Genius Concepts has now expanded to include Genius Installations. Niek and Caro’s ongoing involvement in both aspects of the company includes, amongst other things, printed marketing material and web design.
